Privacy Policy

This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their 'Personally Identifiable Information' (PII) is being used online. PII, as described in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information when you interact with us in connection with our product or services, including but not limited to visit us in person at our homes, model homes or sales centers, online via our website, blog, social media, third-party apps, or contact us via phone call or text message.

What personal information do we collect from the people who visit us in person or online?

When purchasing a home or registering on our site or in person, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, phone number or other details to help you with your experience, such as but not limited to address, price range, square footage and property type, communities of interest, marital status, military or veteran status.

When do we collect information?

We collect information from you when you fill out a form or enter information on our website, a third-party vendor’s website, or when interacting with one of our team members. The information we collect from you may be combined with data we obtain by automated means (as further detailed below), such as website usage details stored in cookies on your browser.
Data We Collect Automatically:
When you visit our websites, use our social media pages, or open our emails, we and our service providers may automatically collect some information using tools like cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device to recognize your browser or save your settings. Web beacons  (also called pixel tags or clear GIFs) help link web pages to servers and track how you interact with our content.
This technology helps us gather data like your device’s IP address, browser type, device info, language, pages you visit, and when you visit. We use this information to remember your preferences, understand how you use our websites, customize content to suit you, measure how our websites and emails perform, and/or make sure everything works smoothly.
Location Data:
Our websites and emails may also collect your location. For example, if you use a mobile device and allow location services, we can show you nearby homes. On a desktop, you may choose to share your location through your browser. Emails might use your IP address to guess your general area (like your postal code) so we can show you relevant information.
Managing Your Settings:
Your browser may let you know when cookies are being used or help you block them. Keep in mind, some website features may not work without cookies. On mobile devices, you can control what data is shared through your privacy settings.

How do we use our information?

We may use the information we collect from you when you register, make a purchase, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:

  • To send periodic emails or text messages regarding your order or other products and services
  • To follow up after correspondence received from online chat, social media, email, text, phone, or third-party app inquiries
  • Provide you with a more personalized buying experience
  • Send you surveys to help us provide better products and services to our customers
  • Respond to recruitment inquiries
  • Operating, evaluating and improving our business practices
  • Complying with and enforcing legal requirements, policies and terms, including our Terms and Conditions

Third-party disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information unless we provide users with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when its release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety.
However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

These services track your online activities over time and across multiple websites to compile data through automated means as described above. This process also helps us track the effectiveness of our marketing efforts.
